The Southport Junior Yacht Club Sailing Foundation is pleased to be the Organizing Authority for the 2022 Maine State Opti's Championship Regatta! Join us on Monday, August 15th at the Southport Yacht Club to witness the enthusiasm and skill of Maine's Opti sailors. We expect 65 excited sailors in the Championship and Green Fleets. Our volunteers look forward to welcoming sailors from across the State, for a memorable day of racing on the Sheepscot River.

The Notice of Race includes a schedule of events and important information if you are planning to join us.

Registration is through the Regatta Management Solutions website; here is the link:

Once you register for the regatta, you will receive a link to order your regatta t-shirts. On the site you can upgrade to a long sleeve or hooded shirt as well as customize with name and sail number for additional cost. If you order your shirt by July 28th, it can be picked up at the regatta. If you miss the deadline, we will open the store again and you can ship to your house. Registration is online only, with a registration deadline of Saturday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Please join us for the Seguin Island Trophy Race Party. We welcome all participants, spectators and members to stop by! Our good friends at Wicked Good Street Kitchen, a food truck out of the Portland area, will provide the food for the evening. Food offerings will include: Fried Brussel sprouts with pulled pork, Steak and Cheese sandwiches, Pad Thai, fish tacos, chicken & waffles and a variety of other offerings.

You can either purchase a food only ticket for $15.00 or a food and beverage ticket for $25.00. The food and beverage tickets will include beer from Boothbay Harbor Brewery and wine. Both tickets will include dessert.
