The Southport Junior Yacht Club Sailing Foundation is pleased to be the Organizing Authority for the 2022 Maine State Opti's Championship Regatta! Join us on Monday, August 15th at the Southport Yacht Club to witness the enthusiasm and skill of Maine's Opti sailors. We expect 65 excited sailors in the Championship and Green Fleets. Our volunteers look forward to welcoming sailors from across the State, for a memorable day of racing on the Sheepscot River.

Once you register for the regatta, you will receive a link to order your regatta t-shirts. On the site you can upgrade to a long sleeve or hooded shirt as well as customize with name and sail number for additional cost. If you order your shirt by July 28th, it can be picked up at the regatta. If you miss the deadline, we will open the store again and you can ship to your house. Registration is online only, with a registration deadline of Saturday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m.

Register all adults first, hit confirm, pay or choose Invoice Me and then go back and add a new registration as a guest for children because the price is different. Pay once online after you have done all adult and child registrations or pay at the event on Saturday evening. In order to pay at the event, choose the option Invoice Me at the end. Essentially the website can only register one person at a time and the second person (the spouse) has to be added as a guest. One strategy is to choose Invoice Me and then pay the invoice at the end if you have several different registrations (sides, kids, lobster, steak).

The annual lobster and steak dinner will again be lovingly prepared at the water's edge by our fleet of past commodores. Event is open to SYC members and their guests. First Bake will be served at approximately 7:00. The second bake will be served at approximately 7:45. Children's dinner consists of hot dog or hamburger with same side dishes as adults, except no clams or mussels.

Note: For this website consider spouses and children to be guests for purposes of registering. Dinner orders close at noon on Friday, August 3.
